The UK's first grant cooperative

"GrantLINK is soon to become the UK's leading grant advice cooperative. Unlike many other 'Grant' sites we do not aim to point you in the direction of a 'possible' grant or sell you a list where you may or may not find a grant. GrantLINK has been set up to ensure that the clients needs can be identified quickly and whether a suitable grant exists to assist them. Too much time is wasted by people searching or being directed towards a grant that is wholly unsuitable for their needs.

Our aim and vision is not to source available grants for a business or sector but to be able to quickly derive whether a grant exists that may suit their specific project and source the expert who can assist them in ensuring they secure some of the available grant funding from one of the many grant lenders, which can include DBERR and the EU.

GrantLINK will be the first ever private 'Grant Cooperative' and has been formed to bringing some unity, transparency and consistency to the grant advice marketplace. Unlike other 'Funded' organisations we have to deliver real deliverables - Grant offers, again and again and again. With cooperative knowledge and a joint vision to give the very best advice on a success payment basis, this ensures that we always have a finger on the pulse not only to survive but also to grow.

Recent changes in the funded national business advice set up has meant that more and more often business consultancy which includes grant advice is being brokered out by a list which is not properly vetted and therefore the quality and track record of advice being given cannot be ensured to its customers.

GrantLINK has been set up for this very reason, to add strength through numbers by offering a complete grant advice cooperative on a national level which will be driven by grant scheme and not sector. This ensures the expert allocated to the client has the very highest of knowledge in that specific grant and therefore can add the very highest of value through the consultation and grant application process.

GrantLINK has been the brainchild of Ian Heywood who has researched the grant marketplace for many years and who also is the Director of one of the UK's leading grant consultancy practices himself - UK Grants Limited. In conjunction with the K2i programme (an NWDA funded initiative), Ian is currently preparing the business for market. Ian has been quoted as saying;

"There exists a definite gap in the grant advice marketplace for a grant cooperative which encourages the very best of consultants working across many grant awarding sectors to come together to fly the flag of 'GrantLINK' to provide some unity and consistency of advice. The economics and the organic way the grant market has been formed over the last 15 years has meant that there is no structure, consistency of advice or cooperative talking between 'members' of the grant advice community. GrantLINK will provide this for the marketplace, which will ensure each and every consultant can add value to their own services which will in turn add value more importantly to our clients "- 'Our Success will be our strength and our strength will be our Success'
